We will be tweeting daily from @BC_Admission with updates throughout the month as we near mailing date for Early Action applicants. If you want to know exactly when we mail, as well as ask any questions you have and read daily life posts from current students, we encourage you to follow along.

Happy December everyone!

Thanks @DevlinHall208. Fingers crossed!

Early Action decisions are officially on their way!

Admitted students, we would love for you to share your excitement by tweeting @BC_Admission with #BC2019 and joining the official admitted student Facebook group, The Official Boston College Class of 2019 | Facebook

Hello @DevlinHall208,

Can you tell us what percentage of deferred applicants might be accepted in regular decision?

Thanks.

@redpoodles‌ We actually don’t track that information. All deferred students are rolled into the Regular Decision pool and re-evaluated within that context. They are not viewed any differently.

Can you tell us it no portal change indicates a rejection. Thanks

can you just explain why some portals have changed and others have not.

@ksldin‌ Our stance remains that official admission decisions are revealed by letter (e-mail for int’l students), not through the Portal.

So if my portal has not changed that does not mean I was not accepted?

The only way to know your official decision is to receive your decision letter in the mail.

@DevlinHall208‌ Hello! I was deferred from BC early action and was wondering what information needed to sent in the coming weeks. BC is still my top choice, and I want to ensure I do all I can to gain admission! Thanks!
