I got in as well! My cheeks hurt because I can’t stop smiling!

Congrats LadyPikachu!

Deferred. T_T

Had a 2180 SAT and a 3.7 GPA, but got 2 Cs in Q1 of Senior year. Also had no outstanding ECs, awards, or honors. This was supposed to be my safety school but looks like I’m going to community college now.

Also got deferred. Only had a 1860 SAT but still was expecting to get in. Not really bummed about getting deferred as much as I am worried about my chances at Northeastern now.

Sorry Khorik, I’m surprised you got deferred! Don’t give up hope–I still think you have a pretty good shot!

Accepted!
(2290 SAT and 3.9 W GPA if it matters. School doesn’t “unweight” so I don’t know my UW)
This is my top choice tied with Northeastern, so I’m very pleased first acceptance too :D

D2 accepted in nj
Attended camp this summer at wpi
Also awaiting northeastern
Deferred at cwru
Need to show interest, since schools have so many qualified applicants

Congrats guys! Funny, I’m also eagerly awaiting Northeastern. See you all on the EA Northeastern thread? lol

I got accepted too! (2020 SAT, 33 ACT)

Did anyone hear anything about merit scholarships? I was expecting to but I didn’t! I am also eagerly awaiting Northeastern :p

Deferred as well I have a 3.2 GPA 2030 SAT, 750 M, had a 3.5 first quarter senior year but a C- in AB Calc. Extremely nervous for Northeastern now. Oh well.

Congrats to everyone accepted! To those who didn’t make it the first round, you still have a shot, don’t give up!

Awww for some reason I didn’t apply to Northeastern EA but I applied RD. Gosh darn, more waiting. Dx

I’ll post some more detailed stats for future people looking at this thread:

I’m an Asian female…yipeeeee

I forgot to post my stats (I was accepted):

DS got accepted and is thrilled…this was his top choice. 2270/3.35UW 5.35W/Full IB/Eagle Scout/NMSF…

I feel interest was key: we visited last March and he interviewed in October with regional rep and exchanged a few emails with the latter. DS got deferred from CWRU, having not visited or interviewed (although we did request an alumni interview) and I think that may have made a difference.

Will post full profile if someone would be so kind as to post the template…;)

My S accepted: GPA: 88.5 (no significant weighting factor compared with other schools)

ACCEPTED!!! WPI is tied for my top school with Cal Poly SLO
ACT: 33

Fair amount of ECs with leadership roles
I am a female who applied for Architectural Engineering and I wrote my essay about building and designing structures/small scale houses in my backyard.
I showed a lot of interest because I visited, interviewed, met with a professor, and had a lot of email back and forths with my admissions person.
I also submitted a supplemental flex path with a computer drafted model airplane from my 10th grade engineering principles class and a house that I designed in my architecture class last year. Both projects won awards at the local county fair.

Accepted and will be eagerly awaiting Northeastern.

Would take Northeastern over WPI, but WPI was my #5 school so it is very nice to be accepted.

@khorik, I am very surprised you were deferred, I would expect you would get in somewhere else if not here. Best of luck. Perhaps you were deferred to see if your Q1 grades went up? I would say you’ve still got a great chance here.
