i applied mid-october and got my letter today, accepted into the school of business!

I just got a letter yesterday, I was accepted into the engineering program. I was so surprised.. I didn't expect anything untill Feb. Also, I applied just before the Dec. 1 deadline.

Sent everything on 10/30 for engineering, haven't heard anything. Is there anyway to check the status??

Wilson1:
mm unfortunatly there isn't for U Conn. You've got to wait for the snail-mail, how stone age!

Yay...I just got my acceptance letter today (it was dated December 26)
Accepted to School of Engineering and Honors Program.
Awarded Presidential scholarship (totals $28,800 (according to the letter))
I'm so excited. It was my first acceptance and now I feel like I can relax a little.

Stats:
SAT: CR 730, M 760, W 740
Class rank: 1/250

I got my acceptance letter a few days ago, and I got in to the College of Arts and Sciences, Honors program and an Academic Excellence scholarship worth $3,600 per year.

These are my stats, by the way:

In-state

I got accepted 3 days ago, and I applied on 11/28.

but i have bad stats
SAT 1650

anyone else got in for pharmacy?

I just got my acceptance letter in the mail. I got into their Science program.

I posted earlier (accepted w/ honors program and $3600/year scholarship)...
I applied on November 1st and heard back December 18th.

My stats were:

SAT: 1570/2370
GPA: 3.98/4.00 unweighted, 4.26/4.5 weighted
School doesn't rank, probably top 3-6 out of 400
AP Scholar with Distinction, Nat'l Merit Semifinalist, Decent ECs

I also applied for the Nutmeg scholarship... no word yet, but I'm not particularly optimistic.

Congratulations and good luck to everybody!

How can Buffalo get $3,600/yr with those amazing stats and achang get $11,000/yr with a 1650 SAT, and out of state??? Something doesn't make sense.

maybe he was a minority

maybe it's $11000 over all 4 years?

nope, it's $11000 per year. but I think they do it by the percent.
in state is $6000 ish I think and he got almost $4000
out of state is like $22000 and I got half ??

I dont' know, i'm surprised too...maybe they meant $1100 ??

I got in last week to the college of liberal arts as a history major!
I also received a scholarship for $3,600 per year. In-state, female, white, etc. I had a 3.5 GPA, SATs were 2020.
Good Luck everyone!

I'm in state but haven't heard yet....
But here is what I've heard from my friends who have gotten in...
1) Asian - 1290/1960 SAT - 42/278 -full tuition paid
2) White - 1320/1900 SAT -(around) 30/278 -full tuition paid +honors program
3)White - 1280/1880 SAT - 15/278 - nothing
4) White - 1260/1890 SAT - 11/278 - nothing
5) White - 1100/1700 SAT - 33/278 - nothing

(The SAT's aren't exact but around except for #1 and #3)

I'm wondering where I stand...

1310/1960 SATs
30 ACT
3 AP classes and 6 UCONN classes (6 total)
AP Bio - 4
92.4 GPA
51/278 but will be in the top 40 by S2 if not S1
Upwards trend throughout my high school career...

I know I'll most likely get in, however, the only way I'm going to UConn is if I get money which I'm not sure I will. However, it seems to me that they look at the SAT scores heavily for scholarships - maybe to boost their overall stats. So maybe a 1960 would be good enough? Opinions...

I got accepted yesterday with 3,600 per year to Computer Science and Engineering.
While Male, In-state, 22/~280?, 1360/1960.
