EA decisions are out! Post here! Post stats!

When did you apply neobez?

Like November 23rd or something. All my stuff was in (test scores, rec, etc.) by December 1st (to meet the fellowship deadline). Kinda surprised that I got a rather early acceptance without applying early. My guess is that they aren't really doing as much stuff now that EA decisions are in, so i guess they're starting to look at complete applications.

I debate too! (public forum and LD)

so do I!!!!! Its good to know debate isn't dead, at my school we have a grand total of 6 debaters. So if you our in our debate team you have a 2/3 of getting a leadership position. A-bowl takes all our would be good debaters.

Hello UGA students!!

With my stats, how much of a chance do I have at UGA?

African American (Nigerian)
GPA: 3.67
Courses: 10 Honors, 3 AP's
ACT: 25
6 Clubs
Basketball
Track/Field (might run for UGA)

I would say you have a pretty decent chance. Is the GPA weighted or Unweighted?
If unweighted, I think you're in. Your ACT is slightly below average, but you have taken a tough courseload so I would say it's good enough.

Thanks a million neobez!!!
Any more comments?

Congrats to all of you! I was accepted EA too, with a 3.6/1490 (750v, 740m). LOVE the school, although its not my first choice. Good luck to everyone applying RD!

PS Bob, I'd bet you're in. You've got a good GPA, and UGA's acceptance letter says they value a strong courseload, which you've got. Good luck!
