<p>It might not improve your chances of getting in, but it's up to you.</p>
<p>well a deferral gives you a one third chance of getting in regular. they only defer like ten percent of applicants from what i heard</p>
<p>I think neapol1s's suggestion is a good one. You may also look into Physics Olympiod competition, etc. The problem with home school is that its quality varies greatly. Sometime even college's "A" is easier to get than a good grade from a good high school and without AP score make it even harder to bench mark your true accomplishments. You may also like to include your graded test paper from the college course if you think that it could tell people about your accomplishment. Best of wishes.</p>
