<p>i got accepted today. my letter was sent out yesterday 1/9, so they are coming out real soon.</p>

<p>in state, 3.7 GPA, 1150 old SAT.</p>
<p>psu, do you think you will attend? My D really liked SJU, is still waiting to hear. We visited once but don't know any current students. What are your impressions of the school?</p>
<p>I really like it. If your daughter likes a smaller school than it's perfect. You get a sense that you belong to a family and are a part of something bigger than yourself. The campus is very nice and the academics are great. Right now I'm leaning towards attending but I am still waiting on PSU before I make it final. My mom is an alum and my cousin just graduated back in May. Both loved thier experiences there. Hope that helps some.</p>

<p>Thanks, psu. My daughter doesn't want really small but she doesn't want big like Penn State either. PSU and SJU are quite a contrast. THe way you described the positives of a small school are really what would appeal to my D. Good luck with your decision.</p>

<p>Tell her I said congrats. I just got into Penn State University Park on Saturday, and I'm kinda leaning towards going there. It is so hard to pass up SJU though, it is such a great place to be. I have a tough decision ahead of me. Anyway, good luck to you and your daughter in choosing the right school.</p>
