theyre gonna reject you cause you didnt indent your first paragraph.

gahh… my school so far that i know of 4 in at Stanford and 1 defer, 2 rejection. 2 in at Caltech(crazy math stuff. also applied EA to MIT grrr) ,2 defer. either Caltech really hates me or my mail man really hates me and lost my letter.

none of the indents for the essay worked for me… not in short paragraph… not in long one…

MIT is my first choice though… grrr sigh…

Here in Cambridge, we’re rooting for ya!

Good luck guys, see you at CPW if you get in! =)

It’s almost time…

My blog: [Omar Abu](http://omar-abu.blogspot.com)

=P I got a total of 45 minutes of sleep last night. YAY FOR CRAZY REJECT DANCE PARTY!!! Yeah. It was fun. And it helped me lose the stress.

Okay, I’m off to catch the bus for Columbia, but before I do, since the next time I post we’ll all know our decisions, I wanted to say good luck to everybody. You’re all awesome, and I’m thoroughly convinced that every one of you deserves to get in, and I sincerely hope that as many as possible do. So, congratulations to MIT 2012, whoever you may be. And again, good luck!!!

(By the way, though our insanely good valedictorian was deferred from Yale, somebody else from our school got in! I haven’t lost ALL hope yet!)

haha its coming out… like soonn!

ok so, when the admissions are up, is that decisions.mit.edu login page gonna look different? or when i log in at some point is it just gonna say CONGRATS! or. SORRY and have that long letter?

it’ll probably look the same

for people freaking out, look at this:
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/princeton-university/432489-all-things-i-learned-princeton-these-most-important.html
no, im not selling princeton. i just think the first few paragraphs are such rarity on CC and made me look at this a lot differently.

a very moving post, though i doubt i’ll remember any of it when i’m deferred =P

I had to stop by before I headed off to work. Good luck guys! I’ll be thinking about you and will likely start flipping out in front of the 5 people in my line when the little digital clock on my register strikes noon.

The link tongchen posted is great- please remember that if you’re deferred or rejected (and I’ll do the same if that’s the hand I’m dealt).

Best of luck.

Is there a chance that MIT might post decisions sooner than 12:00 pm ???

No. If anything, the decisions will be released later than 12. If they decide to pull a Stanford, we might get it even later than noon EST haha. My friend got her Stanford deferral at 8PM instead of 6PM. Who knows?

Good luck to everyone. 2 hours till official release time.

Hour and a half !!!

Good luck!!

OH man I am freaking out to the maaaaaaaax

Agreed with the person who wrote “of all the things I learned…”

I’m worried too… but whatever comes out of it, congratulations to us all for taking the chances and doing our best. I have no doubt that all of you are brilliant people who deserve to get into MIT and other top schools. So at the very least, I’m happy to have chatted with you online, even for the few days that it was.

If we can’t all go to college together, at least we’ve had CC to talk through. =]

I heard that there was a bad snow storm in Boston…Do you think that this could effect the decisions?

it could affect the mailing out of the letters - but not the online, methinks…

I just got rejected from Johns Hopkins last night (no not deferred), so I highly doubt I’ll even get deferred from MIT.

It has been quite the run.
