does anyone know when they are mailing out early action decisions?

I'm wondering the same thing.

my guess would be they are being mailed either tomorrow monday so that we'd have them before Christmas

I got my letter today. I live about 40 minutes away
I got accepted into Business with the presidential scholarship (15,000 a year) I don't know if I'm going to attend yet or not. I got in to Villanova as well and am waiting til April for Cornell and Wharton. It will come down to fin. aid and if St. Joes will give any more money. I was looking for 20K a year. We'll see
good luck to everyone else!

Im getting so nervous!

a few people i know heard back today!

They all did COMMON APP. I did paper app. Maybe they sent out Common App applicants first?

yeah, i did common app.

has anyone who did the paper app heard?! everyone that i know who has gotten in so far has done common app and has recieved a scholarship

Im checking the mail first thing tomorrow morning!

..probably for a rejection letter, however.

erzepnicki, What are you stats? My D got in Haab but didn't nearly get as much for a scholarship. SJU will be a little expansive since you have to live on campus first two years.

I'm EXTREMELY nervous as well i can't wait any longer!

I was wondering does anyone know if it's more difficult to get in EA then it is Regular Decision?

idk if this is true or not: but i heard sju will not deny anyone in early action, only admit or defer, so i guess it is better to do ea becasue you will have at least two tries to get in

right i definitly think that is correct. i was just wondering if you have a better chance of getting in Regular Decision? or it didnt really matter, EA isnt any harder?

did anyones come in yet!?!?!

My friend just checked her mail and it didn't come today. I guess maybe tomorrow? The stress is killing me!!!!!!!!!!

called the admissions office and they said either today or tomorrow!

gahhhh I am so excited.

congrats! I'm really excited too! lol

thanks and congrats to you as well!

i'm going to definately have to visit very soon... which shouldn't be a problem since i only live two hours away. lol.

I got in...Presidential Scholarship - 15k per year.

Does anyone know how hard it is to keep a 3.2 GPA at St. Joe's?

This is a weird question too - does it have an inferiority complex at all because of the proximity of Villanova...because of Villanova being more selective?

I would imagine a lot of people would be attracted to St. Joe's because of the generous merit aid. I did not apply to Villanova on purpose, because they don't offer merit aid. I don't want to pay 50k.
