Anyone hear from Lawrence yet on Early Action decision? Lawrence EA decision date is this Friday, wondering if they were gettting decisions out yet.

My son hasn’t heard anything yet. My older son applied EA three years ago and it took a while after the announced date for him to get word, but he was ultimately deferred. I assumed from that experience that you were more likely to hear sooner if the news was good. Good luck.

Thanks MilwDad. The LU web site says that they will mail decisions on the 15th, so we are hoping to hear no later than early next week.

Anyone get a letter from the financial aid office today? I wonder if it means acceptance?

Today (Saturday) acceptance envelope arrived for D. She is lifeguarding today so it won’t get opened until later today, but she was accepted as the outside of the envelope says “Welcome to Lawrence.” We live in Wi. so the delivery time will be shorter than those out of state I’m sure. Curious to see what the scholarship offer is, as she has a significant amount offered by another school high on the list. We also received the financial aide envelope yesterday which was just a review of completing FAFSA is applying for that. GLTA with this!

No mail in Madison, WI.

No mail in Minnesota today

Nothing in Milwaukee, and as my son ruefully noted, no mail on Monday. So it will be a few days at least for everyone. Good luck to all.

We live just outside Madison and the letter was indeed acceptance with scholarship offer. Time to start mulling.

Waterford, where do you live? We live in McFarland. Congrats on the acceptance!
Hopefully something on Tuesday. Football coach has been in contact with our S.

My son’s acceptance came in the mail today. He is a happy boy; we also have some decisions to make. Wishing you all good news…

i’m from the chicago area and haven’t recieved anything other than the letter about financial aid. i got it on friday, and when my mother saw the thin envelope from Lawrence she let out a big “Uh oh…” but luckily it wasn’t what she thought :)

Morning Mombear … we are just down the road from you in Stoughton! Small world, huh? If our daughter decides to attend Lawrence she will likely compete in track, and the communication she’s had from their track/XC coach has been very supportive. Right now it looks as if she is deciding between Lawrence and Luther. Luther came through with a very generous scholarship offer, so that’s hard to ignore. Either school will be a win/win I think. Or, maybe she’ll throw us a last minute curve ball like kids are supposed to and join the masses at La Crosse. Is your son looking at any other schools?

Waterford, it is a small world. My son swims for McFarland and has some interest in swimming for Lawrence. He has been accepted at: Univ. of Chicago, UW-Madison, St. John’s in MN, St. Norbert and Creighton Univ. He is waiting on Lawrence, Marquette, Wash U, Hillsdale and Grinnell. He also lifeguards and teaches swimming at McFarland. Keep me posted on your D’s final decision.

No word yet. Son very anxious, Lawrence is one of his top two.

Son received good news from Lawrence in the mail today in Milwaukee.

Good luck to all!

Son received his acceptance packet today! Also from Marquette! What an exciting day.

Daughter in today with large merit award. We are very happy!

Just got my acceptance letter all the way out in California!

collegesearchmom, S received merit scholarship and community scholarship, but we were hoping for more, especially with his scores and resume. Still waiting to hear about National Merit finalist.
