EA Decisions

I think it only shows up for people who applied for FA. I could be wrong tho .

I think so too - if you are not applying for financial aid, you wouldn't be submitting any of these forms.

you guys are probably right...lol i was just hoping there was SOME way to find out to kill the anxiety
*good luck to everyone!

congradulations to those who got in!!! i was wondering about the website someone posted about financial aid... what is that SSN???? if someone could tell me id appreciate it

social security number...but it probly only shows for those who checked the financial aid box on the application

so does this say anything that financial profile thing? i mean about the decision and all

nope...it just says what forms they need from you and what they have already received...it just didnt show up a couple of weeks ago so it was odd.

oooh i see ok thanks... good luck with the decisions everyone =)

yeaa and u kno the page might even work for ppl who were deferred so jus chill out an have a wild time....

Hm, I just checked the FinAid site. Apparently, my CSS Profile was "received" yesterday, 12/11/2004. Perhaps a good sign?

i cant decide if this is a sort of back door indicator of acceptance or irrellevant...logically it should be irellevant, but why woud they bother putting thousands of applications online for kids who arent getting in

either way it should all be over tomorow.....let us pray

If I haven't submitted my CSS yet, will I still be able to get money from them? (guidance counselor told my parents not to do it till January or something)

jangel...i didnt submit it either...but i was under the impression that the CSS profile only applies for merit-based scholarships which would mean it would only apply for that top 2% of applicant pool scholarship...so im not wasting my money...of course i could be wrong with my reasoning =)

CSS PROFILE FORM

Any student who would like to be considered for Boston College grants and scholarships is also required to file the CSS Profile Form published by the College Scholarship Service (CSS). The Profile Registration Form is available online at <a href="http://profileonline.collegeboard.com%5B/url%5D">http://profileonline.collegeboard.com</a>. You should indicate Boston College, CSS Profile code number 3083, as a recipient of your information on the Profile Registration Form. There is a fee required for processing this form. All parental information is required to be completed on the Profile Application Form regardless of dependency status.

Students who choose not to file the Profile Form will be considered for federal funds only, and will not be considered for any Boston College grants or scholarships awarded by the Office of Student Services.

NOTE: Although figures from a 2004 Federal Income Tax return are preferred, due to early priority filing deadlines, it may be necessary to provide estimates on the FAFSA and Profile forms. Do not delay filing the FAFSA and Profile until tax forms are completed. The processed Profile Application Form and FAFSA take approximately two to four weeks to reach Boston College.

Sounds as though it's required for anyone wanting to be considered for private grants from BC, which is financial aid if I am not mistaken.

Any ideas as to how long it will take to get to a poor midwestern guy in wisconsin like myself?

Today!!!!!

today? seriously?!

It was sent friday. You can check on usps.gov where it says "Calculate postage", and just type in BC's zipcode and yours, and it will tell you how long it should take to get there. I tried it and it told me 1 day (I live in MA), and I got it in a day, so I think it's pretty accurate.

I got in!!! Carroll School of Management.

congrats amdandrew! i'm waitin for the mail truck!
