EA Deferred, essay not good enough, send in new ones?

Hi guys, it was disappointing to receive the deferral on the 15th and I examined the essays that I have submitted and got better ideas. Now I have written new essays that receive far more positive feedback from essay readers and I plan to use a new essay for the commonapp personal essay for my RD school? Should I also mail a brand-new application to Yale, hoping for a reevaluation? Will changing essays hurt my chances in the RD round?

Thanks

I think the only correspondence that Yale would appreciate is an update with any accomplishments that have come since your original application.

Why don’t you email the Yale admissions office and see if you can substitute essays?

They don’t want new essays. Your file has been read and notes made. They’re not going to go down the route of re-reading new essays for every deferred EA applicant. That’d be nuts.

You should only update them of new accomplishments. They can’t accept new essays.
