EA/ED choices

<p>This is my first time posting in chances; and I realize that it is often difficult to distinguish amongst the Ivies but I was wondering whether you guys could offer me some input on early action/early decision choices given my stats and interests. It's often helpful to hear from other people, so thanks for any comments or suggestions!</p>

<p>EA/ED possibilities: EA Stanford, EA Yale, EA MIT, or ED Princeton</p>

<p>Intended field of study: Biochemistry, chemistry, or chemical engineering.</p>

<p>Asian male (US citizen residing overseas)</p>

<p>GPA: ~3.9 UW (school does not do UW GPA), 4.09 W (max GPA attainable after Junior year: 4.10)

SAT II: 800 Math 2, 800 World History, 800 Chinese, 770 Chemistry, 770 Physics, 750 US History
AP: 5 in Calculus AB, Calculus BC, World History, US History, European History, Psychology, Chemistry. 4 in Statistics</p>

Yearbook 3-year Member (Editor-in-Chief 06-07)
Certified Lifeguard in Taiwan and the US
MUN Taiwan Council+Country Leader
Missions/Service Trip to Philippines for 12 days
Volunteer and certified tour guide at the biggest museum of the natural sciences in Taiwan (150 hours)
Peer tutor at school for Chemistry and Math (100 hours)
AIME Qualifier (4 in 2005, 2006)
Australian Mathematics Competition Certificates of Distinction (2004, 2006)
Cellist (first stand 06-07)
Pianist (10 years, don't compete though)</p>

<p>if you have to "choose" among what you want to do EA/ED, you shouldn't be doing EA or ED at all. EA/ED is only if you think that school is your first choice. Regardless of your stats or your ecs, you should look into these schools more and actually decide WHICH school is your first choice</p>
