<p>I am not sure I have anything to add to this discussion at the moment beyond what I had posted earlier today, but I thought mauimom made some interesting points that a lot of CC parents probably can relate to and be helpful with. The various posters' observations about quality of high school experience (especially social life) coloring initial view of college life is worth thinking about too. In any case, I think I have figured out how to start a new thread, so...here it is.</p>
