Anyone knows the exact date for Chicago EA results? The website only says 'mid-dec', but didnot indicate exactly when.... Anyone?

Many other early school have already released theirs, like UPenn, Columbia, and some other liberal arts... my friends are all happily celebrating...

Unfortunately, no. It WAS once believed to be the 15th. But now all we know is that it’s somewhere around the 15th. Meaning next week…o.o So keep checking your email and website for details :)

If you guys log into a College Board Account and have UChicago on your “My Colleges” list, UChicago notifications get placed on the “My Calendar” portion of the “My Organizer” page. Mine currently says “12/20: Deadline for college to notify students of early action.”

Now, it could happen sooner. I mean, a deadline is simply a latest possible date, but perhaps this means that Chicago has set a date. Make of it what you will.

I went through this anticipation last year. It comes when it comes.

The best prediction you can have are days the admissions office closes early (they don’t want to be flooded with calls about decisions, especially with the computer issues of last year). Other than that, it happens whenever they decide, and they will not tell you a release date until they are actually releasing the decisions. They have told people that they do not know when they are releasing decisions on the day they actually release decisions.

I wasted so many hours on threads like this trying to predict a date and time. I suggest you all quit worrying about it and focus on your final exams as I should have done.

Thanks kitkatkatie. It’s like stanford! They just randomly announce that they’re going to release decisions earlier! Do you know if they email you that decisions are out? Also, my exams aren’t until January. :)

They make a blog post about it, then they email everyone in waves. I didn’t get my email until 5 hours after decisions were out, and I was one of the lucky people who got to log in and get my decision in the first half an hour. Hopefully they won’t have technical issues this year.

Good luck and deep breaths guys! It will all feel far away by this time next year.

TO Kitkatkatie: lol were you admitted to Chicago last year??? That’s cool~~
