I want to apply EA to my hardest schools that have it available. Both of the above allow you to apply EA to public universities and if it is required at other school for scholarships or other special academic programs. But neither of these two have those types of requirements. So I must choose which one I want to apply EA to. I love them both. Does anyone know something that might tip the scale towards either? I don't think there's much of a difference between my chances for either.

Also, what's your opinion on chances by Early Action overall?
Thanks

Early action won’t help you at either of those schools in terms of increasing admission chances.

I have the same dilemma as you and have actually decided to RD at both schools rather than EA at one of them. Although it is EA and in a sense not binding, in other ways it is severely limiting. What I mean is, if you EA to one of these schools, then you cannot EA to any other schools that are not public. One example is UChicago, another fantastic school.

Thus, I’ve decided to EA to other schools that are non restrictive and will most likely ED at one school.
