<p>I heard that all of the remaining letters for early action applicants had to be mailed today- does anyone know if that is definitely true? If so… will that mean spire will be updated today with the decisions?</p>
<p>Probably be notified tomorrow, Monday, or Tuesday by mail… right?</p>

<p>@kaseyjaclyn, @lowell14 , etc…my son still wants to go to UMASS Amherst. His school GC called admissions. Said he just need to do well in some freshman classes ( I think math and sciences ) before he can transfer to engineering. Admissions made it sound like he had a very good chance. I think he can do it based on how well he is doing this year. His figured out how to organize and stay focus which was a problem his first 2 yrs of high school. </p>
<p>He was offered no scholarship $. Maybe I filled out something incorrectly on the common app?</p>
<p>I’m still waiting in Kansas… 3.8 and 2260 is this unusual?</p>
<p>I’d like to remind everyone that the Regular Decision deadline for UMass is 1/15/14. This means that if anyone is deffered you have to apply by this date, although I haven’t heard of UMass handing out any deferrals (or decisions of any form for that matter haha).</p>

<p>You don’t have to re-apply by 1/15 if you have been deferred from early action. Early action deferrals are automatically re-evaluated for the regular decision cycle.</p>

His account just updated and there is nothing regarding Commonwealth.
I guess he is not in.</p>
<p>I don’t think that Commonwealth Honors or merit appears on SPIRE. Hopefully the big envelope will provide more information.</p>
<p>Son called talked with an admissions rep that said it would be on his SPIRE account if not on SPIRE he was not invited. I called back and talked with another rep that said they aren’t always on the SPIRE account and just need to wait for the mail to come.<br>
I guess we will wait for the mail version to come.</p>

<p>SPIRE still read “under review” at 7:00 am. I logged on again just to check At 10:00 am it read “congratulations”. My son applied as business major/sports management but was admitted as undeclared. Packet arrived today</p>
