Anyone else freaking out. BC is my number one choice. I just mailed everything. Also I have a question…I just submitted my SAT scores. Is that too late? thanks…

I actually did the same thing. I don't know if my october SAT scores are gonna get there in time. I'm freaking out about my app. too.

My S was accepted EA last year. FYI, he got the letter around Dec. 12. As far as Oct SATs go, I would recommend you send a BRIEF e-mail to adm. couns. who is in charge of your applic (they make the decisions usually). Just let them know that your application has been submitted and SAT scores are on their way. Thank them for their time. BC is one of those schools that keeps track of student's communication with their office -but do not stalk! I would say that my son's stats were average for BC, but what got him in were the "extras" that he did.

Yeah, BC is probably tied for my first-choice and I applied EA, I'm pretty nervous that I'll get deferred or rejected. :

yeah, i really hope i got in because i kind of want to just get it over with(the college process), I hope I got in....ahhh, but yeah I called at BC got my SAT's in time, amazingly, considering CB said it would take 3-5 weeks...Well Duffman, where else are you looking at for your first choice?

^ Tufts for ED

I am nervous, but excited.

Good luck to you all!

^ Yes, good luck to everyone!

woah we get our decision really soon....ps. i just got into tulane.

Congrats ilovedmb! Hopefully you will receive an acceptance letter from BC in about a month!

^ congrats ilovedmb, I'm into Tulane too....hopefully we both get similar news again in about a month, lol. :)

Btw, I went to BC today for campus tours (along with BU and NU).
They said they're about 60% done with the EA applications, and they've received more than ever and more than expected.

They said next year, they may make the EA option into an ED policy because it's just too many applications to handle. Also, they're checking the applications much more swiftly due to the amount they've received (which is sort of a bad thing, I guess).

Well, thought a little update wouldn't hurt you guys.

Btw, BC rocked!

^ Interesting, thanks for the info.

Did they mention anything about Presidential Scholars? Are they still going to be 15 or are they upping the number to 20?

Sorry, no idea.

No problem. So who else is applying? Is BC peoples' first choice? If not where is?

My top choices are USC, UCLA, and now, BC (in that order).

I'm from NY, btw.

My top choices are Tufts, BC, and Brandeis\American...in that order.

BC, wustl, uf
in that order..very diff you see

Any news ... anyone?
