EA to MIT and ED somewhere else?

<p>I was looking for the answer on the MIT site but couldn't find it. So is this allowed? Or can you only apply early to MIT even though its non-binding.</p>

<p>MIT is EA, and you can apply other places early (assuming the other places allow it, of course).</p>

<p>You may apply to MIT EA if the ED school allows other early applications. However, if you are admitted to the ED school, you must withdraw your MIT application as soon as possible.</p>

<p>I think (but I’m certainly NOT sure) that Stanford is about the only school that restricts EA applicants. In other words, if you apply to Stanford EA, you can’t apply anywhere else EA or ED.
Of the very few ED schools, I know about, none disallow EA at another school, but I would call or email the admissions department to be sure.</p>
