Anybody hear anything yet??

I haven’t heard yet, either. I’m anxious and I just got flat-out denied from Georgia Tech, so I’m praying I (at least) get deferred.

Good luck!!

Similar to last year, those offered admission at this point have an academic GPA mid-range of 3.87-4.09, an SAT mid-range of 1290-1420 (with a mean SAT writing score of 654) or a mean ACT range of 28-32. UGA requires students to submit writing scores for their ACT and SAT tests; those scores are an integral part of the selection process, McDuff said.

Those students admitted through early action also took an average of 6.5 advanced placement or international baccalaureate classes.

Haha yeah the website is not even working now.

finally got online! my babygirl got in! good luck to the rest of you and don’t despair if you need to do RD!

Congrats!!!

UGHHHHH the stupid website isn’t working for me.

Ditto chronome- UGGGHHHH!!! I guess it beats running out to the mailbox, though…

S2 just got accepted - he is thrilled!!!

Will those accepted please post your stats. Knowing your test results and UGA GPA will help others.

S2s quick stats: SAT - 2000, GPA - 3.7, 6 APs, Out of State, tons of ECs (although they say that doesn’t matter in the EA round)

ACCEPTED!!!

worth the wait!!!

Edit: SAT 590 CR, 630 M, 710 W
4.1 WGPA, don’t know unweighted GPA but don’t have any B’s. 14 honors classes, 0 AP’s

I refreshed a LOT!

I was accepted :)

30 ACT, 3.97 UGA GPA

After 15 min of perseverance, I was able to break through…

and I was ACCEPTED!!!

32 ACT, 3.81 UW GPA, with 7APs by the end of this year (4 this year)

Good luck to the rest of you :)

Early decisions are in, but son won’t let me peek.

Kind of burned up reading these stats…kid was deferred today with much better SAT scores than posted so far in this thread. As I expected, the UGA weighting system worked against us with our 92=B, grade-deflated, no-AP-classes-until-senior-year high school.

A deferral doesn’t mean a rejection though.

What is the “UGA - GPA”?? S2 is OOS - so just curious.
