EA Tulane Class of 2016

My daughter just got her offer letter. We live in California. She got the Presidential. It seems they raised them all $2000. She was offered $27,000 a year!!!

Congrats joshgesa! Honors program too?

Has anyone heard from the Central Florida area?

A friend of my D got in from South Florida (Ft. Laud) area. We are waiting too. Good luck!

I believe all Presidential awardees are offered the Honors Program.

How long after all of your materials were in by did you hear back? I just got all of mine in today!

Assuming you checked off EA or SCEA, I would think you would hear back by mid-November. The exception would be if you are borderline for Tulane, then they might hold your app until their notification deadline (Dec 15).

D got her letter today. $25K and honors program

mybest boys - yes honors too. i forgot to put that

lexieam - she completed her paperwork mid september

I applied on September 14, my app was marked as complete on September 21, and I received my decision on October 21- but you must keep in mind that these numbers probably don’t mean much, because they hadn’t informed anyone of a decision until October 21.

Joshgesa- me too!

S2 awarded “Distinguished Scholar” at $25K per year and honors program.

Congrats to S2, maxsdad. That confirms that all the awards are $2K higher than last year.

ACCEPTED! So happy to be accepted somewhere! :)

Wow, that was fast turnaround, lexie. Congrats!

My application was marked as complete on october 14th. After checking my status somewhat obsessively for the last few days, I’ve promised myself to not check it until at least a week from now. I figure its probably a much better approach.

I applied on october 17th, checked online today,
Tulane '16 baby!

OK, so I have a question for all accepted. I have been doing some administrative stuff for DS (he applied to 20 schools) to make sue that all materials were in. I just read that he was accepted. How long until he receives something in the mail? He won’t check online since he prefers the “big envelope”. I feel bad knowing something so important, but as a Mom, there is no way I am taking that thrill away from him.

If it was just posted Friday, he should have the envelope by the next Friday. Maybe sooner, possibly not until the next Monday. That is the usual timing, but of course things happen. But on average, to Indiana I would say a 4-5 business days.

Thank you! I can wait a week, I hope.
