For deferred EA applicants, do they release final decisions in batches - i.e. before March…or do all the deferred students have to wait until March for notifications?
My son accepted, OSS NC
33 ACT
7 AP total. NHS, SNHS, SSHS
Classic scholar waiver
Soccer Captain, all state team. Other athletics and lotta volunteering.
Good luck everyone.
accepted in state. I have a 31 composite ACT, but its a 34 with UGA’s superscore method where they just look only at your english and math scores. 3.94 unweighted GPA. i have a 99 weighted average, 8 AP’s, 4 college classes. class rank was top 10%. they dont look at essays or anything else during EA so this was all they looked at. I also got into the honors college, which was released about 2 weeks after the acceptance letters. I got a thing in the mail and an email as well. i was very shocked about the honors college because honestly, I’ve heard some horror stories about people with decent stats getting deferred so I was just glad to be accepted to the college normally! also, im referring to the honors college where you don’t have to apply yet. I think if you didn’t get notified after the honors letters went out early december, you have to apply. hope this helps.
Those that were deferred EA, are you keeping hope that you could get accepted in Feb decisions or are you thinking it will be March?
@Anxiousmom12 the admissions blog indicates only those submitting new scores since being deferred EA should possibly expect to hear before the stated April 1st date. If anyone has additional comments please jump in!!
My DS didn’t take additional tests, but did submit first semester grades. Really, really struggling with the wait and need to proceed assuming no UGA acceptance, but would be thrilled if DS gets a decision sooner.
Just posted: Ring the bell! Decisions are coming soon! On Friday, February 23, our first round of transfer students and over 2,000 first year students will be offered admission! Friday, March 16, will be final first year decisions.
does anyone know if there is a groupme or facebook group for the class of 2022?
