<p>ED is binding; you agree to attend if admitted. EA is non-binding; you can choose to go elsewhere if accepted. Many colleges deny ED increases chances of admission but data and real information including usually significantly higher admission rate for ED than RA strongly indicates that your chances are better ED for many of those who deny that it is.</p>
