Does anyone happen to know if there is any admissions advantage for those who apply EA vs. RD to Tulane? Or, conversely, is it more difficult to be admitted EA than RD? (For example, perhaps there is a more competitive applicant pool in the early round.)

Bottom line, Tulane places a lot of emphasis on demonstrated interest, and EA shows that more than RD. SCEA shows it even more than EA. So probably there is a higher admit percentage for EA/SCEA than for RD.

We visited, and during the info session they stressed “apply early”!

I totally agree with fallen chemist especially now where Tulane seems to have switched to almost rolling admission. It may actually get more competitive with RD since they will have already filled their class. My daughter did EA last year and it worked well for her. My son will do the same.
