Alright, so they have another week, but I would like to know NOW! Who else is tired of waiting!? I sure am, I just got rejected last night so I want some more news.

Where did you get rejected from? Fordham always said decision by Dec. 25th.

Fordham is a 1a for me, hope I find out soon (as in today).

mdavid, i was rejected from UPENN. It was quite a stretch for me, so it was expected.

its all good...i got deferred from upenn the other night too =( but today i found out i got a full scholarship to fordham =D ...so don't worry, it will all be okay eventually.

intothesun06

yeah-it was my big reach, i didnt expect to get in....

you heard from fordham!? did anyone else?

i have not heard yet..i want to hear now! I heard form UVM and UMASS today..got into both, so that was cool.

I got my acceptance today (Rose Hill).....was a little surprised, my SAT's weren't great, but the rest of the package was fine. I don't think I'll get offered money like other posters, but the acceptance is great....you never know what will happen later.

My daughter was accepted to LC!!! She was very excited.....paying for Fordham will be very difficult for us but it's doubtful we'll get financial aid.....hoping for some academic...anyone know details of academic scholarships??

My daughter received her acceptance today to LC.

What does your daughter want to major in...does she want to go to Fordham LC....my daughter loved the set up of the dormitories and of course the location right in Manhattan!

inthesun06- what was your stats if you dont mind me asking?

I got into Fordham Rose Hill! Do they tell you if you got any money in the admission packet? It so, I didn't get any money. :(

i was a national merit semifinalist, which is why i qualified to get a full scholarship. but you do have to have good enough stats, too, so here you go:

school: all girls private school, top 10-ish in class of around 40, gpa is around a 3.7 uw, 4.0 w.

SATs: 800 w 770 v 700 m (2270)

SAT IIs: 800 writing, 750 literature, 720 us history, 700 spanish

APs: Spanish Lang. (4), US Hist (4), Biology, Art History, English Lit/Comp; all of my other courses throughout high school were mostly honors.

ECs: 4 years mock trial (lawyer 10, 11, 12) , 4 years choir (president 12), 4 years volleyball (varsity 11, 12, captain 12), 4 years campus ministry (eucharistic minister), 4 years student ambassador, 2 years national honor society, a few others that aren't greatly important.

summer programs at columbia (literature/philosophy/writing) summer going into 11th grade and emory (theology and social justice) summer going into 12th grade.

that is basically anything significant. my essay was about the emory program and how i would like to pursue studies in political science and religion because of what i studied this summer. i think that's everything =)

BRJ-CT

I applied to RH as well..but I have not heard yet...

if you dont mind, what were your stats? (oh man i cant believe im asking)

Mine weren't too impressive, but I also wont get a full scholarship. : )
I had 1230 on my SAT's,1800 with all 3, (ACT isn't back yet) and about a 3.70 gpa (unweighted) This year I don't know, I have 2 AP's which will effect it more. My catholic school didn't offer many AP's, but they take that into consideration. I always took honor courses, got high honors, etc. but nothing overly impressive. I did do a lot of community service and belonged to clubs outside of school more than in. I tried to do things I liked and not worry about having a long list. I didn't realize what a game it was before I came here. I'm glad I didn't stress out for years before! I'm sure you'll hear soon, probably Monday. Good Luck!!
ps. I saw a thread that said you're a "young" senior too....I'm was 17 mid-October, and feel like the baby in my class's.

My daughter also loved the cozy feeling of the campus and the way the dorm building and classroom building are attached. The administration there seemed very supportive and friendly. The location in NYC is terrific. My daughter's stats were 650CR, 680M and 690W. She had 800 U.S.Hist SATII and 710 MathI SATII. During H.S. she devoted 20 hours/week to pre-professional dance. She participated in several Spanish immersion programs and had significant community service ECs. She really loves Fordham but also loved George Washington University. She was accepted there EDI.

BRJ-

I feel that way too- everyone is turning legal and I can now go see rated r movies. i'll feel incredibly young in college

I got my accpetance yesterday, I'm very excited, I just have to wait on BC RD now, if I'm rejected there I'll be going to Fordham most likely.

For all you guys that got accepted. What are your stats?
