Hey guys,

I'm a rising senior and wanted to inquire about the Early Action program at UNC-Chapel Hill. I'm an international, and I'm well aware that UNC has a great deal of competition for Non-North Carolina U.S citizens, let alone international students like me. Even so, I was curious as to whether applying Early Action to UNC significantly improves an applicants chance of admission, particularly when the applicant is an out-of-state/international?

Thanks!

FWIW, here are my stats:

2290 SAT
3.87 GPA UW

11 A’s GCSEs
President Drama Club, Lead Role, Director of the play this year, Debate Squad, Shortlisted national team, Chief Editor of Literary Magazine, Prestigious Semi-Boarding School, Paid freelance work for newspapers, awards for best essay writer and debater in my school, on a merit scholarship for my Alevels.

I don’t think so. Might as well do it though, it won’t hurt your app.

Ok, and what do you think of my chances in general?
