Ea

Hi guys,

Does the Early Action program have a higher acceptance rate? Does it favour international students or out of state applicants more than regular decision or less so? In addition, what about school specific admit rates like into Ross for example?

For Ross preadmits, the deadline is the EA deadline, so the only way to apply for Ross preadmit is to submit your application EA. There aren’t really any benefits other than getting your decision earlier.

ok. these are my stats:

2290 SAT
3.87 GPA UW
Top 5%
11 A’s GCSEs
President Drama Club, Lead Role, Director of the play this year, Debate Squad, Shortlisted national team, Chief Editor of Literary Magazine, Prestigious Semi-Boarding School, Paid freelance work for newspapers, awards for best essay writer and debater in my school, on a merit scholarship for my Alevels.

Im an International.

Am I likely for EA acceptance?

EA does have a higher acceptance rate than normal admissions, so I would highly recommend you apply through that.

As for your chances, I don’t know. My intuition says that you are very competitive for admission, but I know that U of M has higher expectations for international students. I’m just not the right person to ask.

ok thanks!!

Princeton2017 is a match for U-M

International chances are a lot tougher. OOS Princeton2017 chances would be a match; international IMO slight reach. Best of luck.
