<p>I'm definitely going to check it when I'm alone in my house and I'm going to turn on my webcam to document my reaction when I cry hysterically whether I get accepted or not.</p>

<p>I have a friend at UChicago now and apparently last year they got their decisions on the 13th, in an email that had a link to the applicants' section of the website. Over at the UChicago applicants 2013 facebook group, we've been speculating (hoping!) that we may get the emails on the 12th, since that's the last business day next week...but no one knows for sure.</p>
<p>As for where I'll open it...wherever I am when I get the email! No way I could wait any longer. I'm going to be a bundle of nerves probably starting around Wednesday of this week until I find out.</p>
<p>Haha if they were tears of joy then I actually wouldn't mind.</p>
<p>If it comes out on the 12 I'll be at the library or @ my internship....oh the horror of finding out in a U.S. Senators office!</p>

<p>I doubt they know if we're all in or not.. they've still got a good six days to finish up the EA apps. Hopefully they'll release them EXTRA early, haha.</p>

<p>Ugh, who invented this torture? We've worked hard for 4 years of high school and now we have to wait on tenterhooks, consoling each other, to learn a decision from the faraway admissions gods...some of my slacker friends are already into college! Rolling admissions! No essays! I hate them!</p>

<p>my UChicago counselor told me that we'd be notified sometime between the 15th and 19th, but i thought that was strange. i'm hoping it'll be much earlier. lol</p>
