EA'ers why will you be accepted/deferred/rejected?

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=46699&page=4&pp=20 just in case anyone hasn't looked at this thread... or wants to.

Admit: essays, semi-competitive standing?, luck, Mexican, gpa is nice?, great recs... (amazing recs...)
defer: guidance counselor sabotage most likely, that or because i don't consider myself as amazing as those accepted in above link...
reject: not qualified?, guidance counselor was uber horrid, that or because of love of English and confusing them w/ my calc and physics and other math/science related classes... plus my fav recs would be the math teachers, not the English teachers... math teachers love me... (heh. In my defense out math/ science teachers have higher qualifications that the English teachers… )

It IS okay to have a wide interest class-wise. I soo should have taken statistics along side calc, instead of physics…

Anyhow @ THE END of the year we MUST make a thread like the one above! If any of us decide to got o the same school it would be awesome to know!

I definitely agree. I feel a sort of bond with all the Yale CC'ers and would love to meet some of you someday!

plus reading some of these posts, everyone here IS smart and IS going somewhere in their lives (no matter the direction...) i know it sounds corny and all but it would be a ton of fun, and great networking for later on in life...
