EAP at Davis

HI guys,

I am an eap student from germany and will attend davis in fall. It will be my last year as an undergraduate. I will come to davis in mid august and then I will look for a room. Do you think it will be enough time or may be there some trouble with finding something since everybody starts in fall? I don’t want to go to a resident hall, because I think there are just the kids that start in their first year?
I would be great if I could get some help from you.

thanks,
christoph

You’ll probably be able to find housing if you come in mid-august…but it’d be slim pickings as most housing is secured in february-march (2 months ago)…so if you’re on a big budget…I’d try to look now as there are definetly people looking for roommates. It’ll also depend if you’re willing to share a room or have your own. Keep in mind that most leases begin on September 1st…which may mean that you’d have to sublease someone’s room for half of august and find another room for fall quarter.

this might help… i glanced at it, but you can browse through this to see if it helps

searching on facebook is also another good idea as well as looking as looking throught the student housing website. [UC Davis: Student Housing](http://www.housing.ucdavis.edu/)

good luck!
