<p>What are some good, inexpensive (< $25) earbuds? These are to use with a MacBook. I'm looking for a reasonable balance between sound quality and durability.</p>
<p>I've heard that Sony/Panasonic/JVC brands are more satisfactory than brands like Skull Candy, Koss.</p>
<p>Any opinions, recommendations? Thanks.</p>

<p>In my opinion, earbuds under $25 will all sound the same to everyone except to hardcore audiophiles. But I think you are just looking for decent, durable earbuds so I recommend Sony, Koss, or Altec Lansing. I’ve had Apple and JVC earbuds which broke/ripped/popped after like 6 months of normal use.</p>
<p>If you want better headphones look at Astro, Beats, Bose, and Razer but those brands are obviously more expensive.</p>
