<p>They have never given an official date of any kind. “Mid-December” is the only thing they ever stated up until this week. I do think it will be today or tomorrow based on subsequent responses but, unlike most other schools, NU never actually provided a specific date.</p>

<p>Just a couple. Everything else went out as if NU didn’t exist. I think it doesn’t look very good if apps show up after Dec 15.</p>

<p>A: “I was just wondering if you guys have any word on when decision are coming out?”
B: “Early decisions?”
A: “Yes. Early decisions.”
B: “Sometime this week. They are being e-mailed and letters are going out.”
A: “When did you guys send letters out?”
B: “They are being mailed out this week.”
A: “So we’ll hear sometime this week?”
B: “Yes. You’ll hear sometime this week.”
A: “Okay.”
B: (Hangs up)</p>
<p>that’s exactly what the told me. I’m gonna freak if we don’t hear back by the 15th.</p>
<p>Damn. This is getting frustrating. I wouldn’t classify myself as a CC-esque admissions addict, but this is really starting to push me in that direction.</p>
<p>It is very strange that they just can’t/won’t give a straight answer. That could mean anything or nothing. Very stressful which nobody needs right now. I cant’t help wondering if the timing of Channukah has anything to do with this. Maybe people took days off, whatever.</p>
<p>Regardless, this seems very unlike them, especially since they have an extensive history of releasing ED decisions well in advance of the published notification date.</p>
