Earliest someone has received an EA notification?

Saw a similar thread in the G-town forum…thought I’d post one here too.
For applicants from previous years, when did you get your notification? Or the earliest you heard of people getting their notification?

(I really hope most people got theirs before Dec. 25th–rejection would be a terrible thing to receive on Christmas. :()

Bump.
I recently received an email from BC saying that they have begun reviewing my EA application. How exciting! I have no idea when I'll get a decision though. Hopefully soon.

When did you get the email and when did you apply? I applied like months ago and I know they got everything, but I never got one of those saying they had started to review it.

I got that email too. I applied like mid october and i think it was in early november that i got the email but im not sure. it just said that they have all your materials. if your worried just sign into the agora website thing and it should say what they have recieved. did you apply early?

Yes I applied early, and I think I know the reason I didn't get an email. Originally, BC lost my school forms, so I had to have them faxed over. It shows as complete on agora, and I spoke with a person in admissions who confirmed everything is together in time for EA, so they have everything so I suppose that's all I have to worry about.

Question--did anyone receive an email saying decisions would be out 12/12 instead of by christmas? My friend applied EA too and said he got an email saying that?

no i didnt get an email like that...

ya i didnt get that either... hmmm.. but still anyone know the earliest we can get the letters? im so anxious

I got mine around the 17th/18th.

Who knows I think he may have been confused. He said "I dont know it either said the 12th, or 18th, or maybe just mid december" so it could have just been the EA confirmation email haha we'll see.

My son got his notification around 12/20 last year.

My friend showed me the e-mail, and it did say "mid-December" so that's pretty vague. While 12/20 is a little past mid, I imagine the statement is general enough that it could happen anytime between 12/10 and 12/20.
