<p>Some guy at my school got accepted before the EA deadline. He does no sports, but is incredible academically and musically. How come he heard before the deadline? Do Harvard 'recruit' academics and music as well as sport, just unofficially?</p>

<p>Well, he goes to school in the UK, he received his decision at some point before the deadline (I heard about two weeks before the deadline from a friend of his) and I haven't got a clue how he received it - I'm guessing phone or e-mail, but really don't know.</p>
