I applied to college as a junior with the intention of graduating early and joining the Class of 2016 in college the following year. As circumstances have had it, I’ve instead decided to stay behind for senior year.
As a result, I’m pretty much lost in terms of my place in the college admissions process. Pending upcoming decisions, I’ve been accepted to a few top choice schools, although I’m curious as to whether or not I can choose to defer an acceptance to one of these school and still apply the following fall for other schools that I was rejected from this year.
Has anyone ever been in this situation/does anyone have any knowledge of what I can do? I don’t want to accept an offer and be bound to it, but I also don’t want to have to re-apply to schools I’ve already been accepted to.
