Just found out I wasn’t accepted into the film and television program. Never got an email, but it said “Application Denied” on my paw.

My stats were below the average, 2.6 gpa 1680 sat, so it’s what I expected. Only thing I had going for me was I go to a catholic high school in on the other side of the country. I also had put together a resume of 5 short films I made, but that was required for all film applicants.

Good luck to everyone who hasn’t heard yet! Hopefully things will work out for everyone rejected.

Same exact thing for me. 2.9 GPA and 1690 SAT for Entrepreneurship. I go to a private Catholic School in MD and thought that would help. Unfortunately, it did not. Best of luck to you all!

just got an email saying defered

After a long wait (film and television), my myPAW changed to “Application Incomplete: See Requirements”. Additionally, now all of a sudden it added a column entitled “senior year seventh semester” to my supplemental items. LMU specifically sent out an email in November saying they’d notify applicants if they were missing anything. Why do they choose now to notify me? My midyear transcript for the semester is not available yet. All that is available is my first quarter grades (out of four quarters). What should I do? I do not want to get deferred.
