Early Action Acceptance Letter

I have applied EA to Notre Dame and was wondering if the decision letters are sent on December 21st or they are sent by December 21st?

Also for anyone who was accepted EA, did you get a huge packet or just a regular letter?

Thank you,
stahboy

Oh I mean December 20th

If you are accepted, you get the large 8 1/2 x 11 packet full of info. If rejected or deferred you get business size letter.

Thank you! That’s what I was thinking. Can’t wait til December!

I applied last year: they’ll post the day that letters go out on their Twitter account, then depending on where you are the letters will take a few days to get to you. If you check last years EA results page you’ll get a better idea of it

In the past three years, EA decisions were mailed out on December 13th, 15th, & 18th. The website currently says that decisions will be received “before Christmas.” If you’ve heard or seen the 20th or 21st someplace, keep in mind that that’s just a target date and not set in stone. Depending on the number of apps they receive and how the review process goes, it could be earlier or later. They’ll announce it on their Twitter when the letters are mailed.

If this year is anything like past years, then once December hits, this forum will become busy with rumors, false alarms and conflicting dates from people who “talked to admissions” or “knows someone who works there” or “heard that a classmate got his letter already.” It’s probably best for your sanity to avoid those threads… but if you can’t pull yourself away, just remember: don’t believe anything until you see the official announcement from ND!

Good luck to all!

Thank you! I appreciate it!
