When applying for early action/admission, for example at UGA, does the school only look at GPA, SAT/ACT, and rigor? Do they see anything else, like an honor code violation, or anything else?

As compared to what they look for in Regular Decision applicants? I don’t see why they’d evaluate different criteria.

A school like UGA goes by numbers firstly.

does an early action application need a letter of recommendation?

Yes, it needs everything an ordinary application would need.

Do schools typically look at the letter of recommendation for early action or do they just look at ACT/SAT, gpa, and rigor?

UGA does not require a letter of recommendation for EA but does for RA.

As for Honor Code violations, there probably is a question on the app. about that, and certainly it would be noticed if on your transcript or councilor evaluation form.
