Early action chances at Auburn

I plan to apply for fall 2017 as soon as the app goes live on September 1.
GPA- 3.9
ACT- 30
Am I likely to get an early action decision? Also, about how long would it take to get my decision letter?

I’m in state also

They used to have rolling admission (son’s a senior this year) and yes, no problem w/ your stats.

You’ll get in no doubt (just make sure you apply as soon as it opens to guarantee it), and here’s how the admissions process worked last year for my class:

  • I applied the first day applications opened (Sept. 1st)
  • Early Action decisions began rolling out October 14th, and they go in alphabetical order, so don’t get worried if your friends get in before you (I’m towards the end of the alphabet, so I got my decision 2 days after it began)

Also, make sure to apply for Freshman Scholarships once you get your acceptance letter (you’ll be able to set up an AU account and go through that to apply). Unless they changed the requirements/offers again, you should be eligible for $8,000/yr. A good percentage of eligible freshman who apply get scholarships, so jump on that as soon as you can to grab that extra cash! Best of luck to you and War Eagle!

Wondering how a 26 ACT and 3.45 GPA does at getting in Auburn. Attends nationally ranked magnet high school taking all honors and AP/ dual credit classes. Exceeds minimum core classes with strong electiives. Wonderful recs and solid resume. (Strict grading scale- 93-100=A, 85-92=B etc…). Already applied with status as complete waiting for review.
