On December 8th, admissions posted on their blog that "final decisions are being made" for the ED/EA class of 2019. Hopefully, we'll recieve decisions before the holidays! :) Also, does anyone know if need-based packages are included with the letters? Please post in this discussion if you guys find out any more information about when the letters are being mailed. Best of luck everyone!

He may not be Santa, but the Dean of Admission is also making a list and checking it twice! #pc2019 #futurefriars

@mchapey let the nail biting begin… I’m hoping that letters will be sent out by the end of this week

So they have no online portal?

@Dlsteffen the admissions blog states that they like to send it out the “old fashioned way.” Aka snail mail :-/

According to their Twitter, all decisions were just sent out in the mail and should be recieved in 2-5 days

My Hook
- January of my junior year I was diagnosed with cancer and underwent six months of chemotherapy and radiation. During this time I was sick for roughly 65 school days and I managed to only miss 24. I also maintained my average working extra hard on days I felt well enough. Most ironic about my situation is that my eagle project, which I began before my diagnosis was designed to benefit the very same cancer center I became a patient at (I focused on this in my college essay).

Deferred out of state (MA), 3.2 W gpa, 3.0 UW, 29 ACT

got accepted GPA weighted 4.123 sat 1720 no merit scholarship

@kcasey43 was the deferral letter in a small or big envelope? Just so I can mentally prepare myself for when the mail comes lol.

I’m surprised you got deferred… Your ACT score is well above their average. Did you visit campus?

I got into the honors college with a 60% merit award as well if anyone wants to know for comparison.

I’m from Mass and I still haven’t gotten anything back… ahhhhhhh… Are the acceptance letters big envelopes and deferrals/rejections smaller?

@bhssenior I have a friend (from my town) who got a rejection letter today, however, I received nothing in the mail. Not sure whether this is good or bad news…

From MA - Got deferred…small envelope. 3.2 UW GPA, 30 ACT

Accepted in MA with a 2030 SAT and a 3.9 W GPA! No merit money though… does anyone know if that comes separately?
