I'm thinking about applying Early Action to Princeton next year. It's my ultimate top choice and I feel I am a competitive applicant. Is the Early Action program a more competitive pool? I know that Notre Dame advises students to apply Early Action ONLY if they feel they are at the very top of the applicant pool. If not, they would have a better chance standing out in the RD pool. Is Princeton this way as well? I am also very interested in UVa (Princeton's Early Action program allows applying early action to public universities). Would it be better to apply early here too or wait for RD?
