Did anyone apply Early Action? If so, have you had any correspondence from RPI stating they received everything? All the other EA colleges D applied to have sent her letters, emails, ID numbers to check status on line, etc. RPI is the only one that we have heard nothing from. She applied EA on Oct 18th (due Nov 1st). I've called them twice and they keep saying they will notify us.

My son got a letter (snail mail) on Saturday saying that they were going to review his application. It was a little scary because it looked like a rejection letter from the outside!

I think you may need to check into it b/c I got mine today and live like 2000 miles away from the school. My guidance consuelor sent in my stuff Oct. 29th maybe. I applied earlier though.

According to guidance, everything has been sent as of 10/15. D applied on the 18th.

I can't get past the reception in Admissions who keeps telling me not to worry, "you'll hear something soon, it is very busy here this time of year"

I find it interesting that RPI who considers themselves to be so cutting edge technology-wise has an issue like this, whereas 3 other schools D applied to all managed to send notification within a few days. Hmmm.................

RatedPG, my son applied EA last year and received his acceptance letter in mid-November. He had not received any confirmation prior to that letter.

I got a letter stating my application folder has been opened and they'd send a PIN number to check the status online soon. I think I got that Friday or Saturday

Sounds like they are sending confirmations through the mail. As of today, nothing received. I might try calling again. Thanks for all the input.

I got an email today that gave me a link and password to check my online application status. It seems like I have everything in, even though I didn't send my first marking period grades in haha.

Thanks. I was just wondering when they start looking at RD Candidate's Choice Applications. My daughter just sent her application in.
Good luck to you.
