<p>National Merit and deferred?! i dont understand what NU is doing…</p>
<p>Deferred… 3.7 GPA and 33 ACT. President of my school, VP of my debate team, top 10 in nation for speech and debate, on my congressman’s council, and a few other things. Northeastern tends to be favorable to my school but at least 10 kids have gotten deferred. I’m from NJ.</p>
<p>I blame the new Early Decision policy or maybe every1 is just smarter</p>
<p>I’m surprised I got deferred and not rejected considering the qualifications of these other deferred applicants</p>
