@tamang4 maybe i didnt have enough business ecs? I did fbla for 4 years?? or teacher recomendations are bad? like im actually really annoyed right now.

@llegeacceptance i checked NU and right on…they are very ambiguous regarding outcome of EA. So before, it used to be a possible outcome of only Acceptance and Deferral and now they have added actual Denial. This truly sucks.

How did I get deferred?

Ya I’m also surprised I didn’t get rejected… And @EloiseS79 22000??? Wow

ANDDDDD Im in the IB, have been doing profession theatre since age 6, varsity soccer, community and service for the last 4 years including student ambassador… average B student and they know my school so well … WHY NEU… WHYYYYYYY

anyone from PA hear yet?

Ugh I can’t deal with another bad decision after getting deferred from Georgetown on Saturday Are we approximating Mid-Atlantic to come out at 6 or 7?

still nothing in Virginia… aughhh

deferred from NJ
2310 SAT
National Hispanic Recognition Program Scholar
Ventures Scholar
4.0 UW GPA
Lots of volunteering/dedicated to extracurriculars/leadership roles

I’m so confused right now, Northeastern was more of a low match/safety for me. I don’t mind too much because I think they’re just being weird (and I’m SURE a lot of us will get in RD but still). It’s really frustrating.

Still waiting in FL. Should be a while but I’m no longer confident with all these deferrals of highly qualified candidates :(

@iheartboston there are rejections because I got rejected… not deferred. I asked the admissions and they said I can’t apply again for regular :L

holy shit how @rpp216

@rpp216 w t f

I’m almost crying right now and reading out all of your stats and he’s just saying “Psh, why are you all stressing out? their grades are perfect and of course they’re gonna get into some college”

Strange enough, my brother has comforted me

i really dont want to rant here…but this is so frustrating. National Merit AND Achievement…for what?

Accepted! In NY. Got email about 30 minutes ago. Good luck to all!

Were the Ed decisions this harsh as well?

@rpp21 You posted a lot lower stat on the Fordham University post?

I’ve read the comments and people with better SATs and GPAs are getting deferred and people with lower are gettign accepted… I got rejected but this is just ridiculous!!!

@rpp216 This is what I don’t understand. If someone with your credentials got deferred, how was I not rejected? You’re grades are on a totally different level than mine so I really don’t understand what Northeastern is doing right now.
