I am an NU freshman as well, we don’t know anything more about stats than you do, we’re just speculating based off of last year. NEU will be harder to get into this year than last for sure, but I think they still seem to be following the mass deferral pattern of last year.

Deferred with 4.0+ GPA both UW/W with a 1940 on the SAT. Tons of extracurriculars and amazing recommendations and essay. Whatever, should have been accepted.

where do you find out about honors program?

So NU was a safety or at least a backup. That may have come across in your application.

For those deferred, I would strongly suggest that you “show interest”. Some say it is irrelevant but I suspect that it is.

omg… did they just forgot me…

I think I have pretty strong extracurriculars that helped me to get accepted ( for example, I spent the past two summers and last school year at a lab working on a research project and I entered Siemens & Intel this year!) Also I’m president of national honor society and competitively figure skate.

is there anyone else are still waiting?
