@gatorprincess‌ this was the time for scholarships but financial aid comes after you submit the forms!

Student in NY; deferred with a 4.01 W (3.87 UW) GPA and 32 ACT

Deferred… I guess they’ve really tightened things up this year.

Called the admissions officer earlier and the rep. said that they deferred all the people who they wanted to accept but came in second when compared to other applicants. He said that all deferred students are considered specially in the RD pile and any new information that you send in between now and RD decision day will be marked NEW so that they can compliment and update your application. He told me not to worry and to just continue to exemplify my interest in any way possible, and to keep updating my resume. He also said that they accept a LOT of deferred applicants in the RD round.

Just think about it, there were >22000 ED and EA apps…they’re not going to accept their whole class of 2019 in the early rounds and scare people off from applying RD! By deferring many strong candidates, they can still make it seem like they aren’t biased towards Early applicants, which will still draw in more money from regular decision applicants. Make sense? Let’s cross our fingers and hope I’m right!

@greyGarvin where does it tell you if you got the dean’s scholarship?

Accepted: 31 ACT, 32 super-score, PA

to add on to what I said before: “More than 3,000 were admitted for either the fall or through The N.U.in Program through the Regular Decision process last year.”

Accepted into D’Amore-McKim School of Business!!
I’m extremely excited but I have a few questions. I was wondering if everyone got some kind of scholarship because I don’t see the scholarship box under decision documents and are the university grants separate? Thanks to anyone who can help!
