<p>I want to know too. I know they mentioned in one of their events that they’ll have a decision by Christmas… but I cannot wait until Christmas time to find out! I wanna know now! Gahhh!!!</p>
<p>i applied by the november 1 deadline last year…and you should get your decision like a week before christmas.</p>
<p>My son applied early last year to three universities. SMU was the first to respond, with the acceptance package in our mailbox on Monday, December 15th. We heard from the other two schools about a week later.</p>
<p>all my friends heard about the second week of december. i just applied to SMU EA to only one school. Wondering if that gives me a better chance than others that applied to 4 schools EA? do you think it makes a difference?</p>
<p>so a letter of acceptance will be sent via a large package/envelope, and i’m assuming a letter of deferral is a smaller envelope??</p>

<p>It was over email (for a reason I wont take the time to explain), but they said a packet is in the mail and should reach me within the next week!</p>
