According to the MIT page on CollegeBoard, it says:
Early Decision & Early Action
Early action deadline: 01-NOV
College will notify student of early action by: 20-DEC
So I suppose that's when they'll release decisions?

I wouldn’t bet on it.

MIT is most likely required to provide a date to College Board, but that doesn’t mean that is the date they’ll notify students. I’m sure the date on College Board has been listed as December 20 for several years, but MIT has never notified on that date.

You will know the date for EA decisions as soon as MIT decides what that date will be.

I just checked “My Calendar”, and it says “12/20 - MIT: Deadline for college to notify students of early action”
So I guess that’s the worst case scenario…

If you want me to be totally honest, I don’t think the CB date has anything to do with anything. If MIT needs to notify later, they are going to do that regardless of whether they gave some arbitrary date to CB.

if you check your email you might find out the decision date later tonight!!

You can’t do that to us, now we’re going to be clicking refresh all night just to now when we need to that again

Did everyone receive the letter last night from admissions?
If I did not does that mean anything…

this thread is wrong.
