Early Action For All?

I am a senior now in high school and I want to do pharmacy as my major.

My list of schools is:
Rutgers University
University of the Sciences in Philadelphia
St. Johns
Northeastern
MCPHS

In that order.

If I get into Rutgers I will DEFINATLY go there.
I want to do early decision for Rutgers Pharmacy and then Early Action for everything else. Can I do that? Or should I do Early Action for all of them?

Also, what is the common applicaiton? Because USP has it. Does it mean that i only fill it out once and then send it to them all?

It depends on if the early decision for Rutgers is binding. I know in some cases you can apply EA to some schools and ED to one, so check. If you can financially handle paying for Rutgers, and you really want to go, then do ED. If you want to be able to weigh financial aid packages or you might change your might, do EA. Sometimes EA is also binding, in that a school won't allow you to apply anywhere else EA or ED, so you'll have to check on the websites for all those schools to make sure. The common application is an application you fill out online or print out, and yes you just fill it out once and then send it to all the schools that accept it. On the commonapp website you will find that many schools also have a supplement you must fill out, which is specific to that school only, so you can't send it to all of them. Register on the commonapp website and check to make sure. Good luck!

kd- I don't think Rutgers has ED. Also, St John's and USP have rolling admissions but don't have EA plans. MCPHS has EA, I'm pretty sure it's non-restrictive, with an 11/15 deadline.
