Early action - forms delay - regular pool??

If there is a long delay in the forms like SAT report, transcripts, letters of recommendation from school BUT the application and the supplement has been submitted on time,

is it possible to automatically request the colleges to convert the early action choice or restrictive early action (say for example Stanford) choice to regular pool?

If yes, should the common app and forms be AGAIN submitted or does it get automatically moved to regular pool?

How does it normally work? (Assuming the delay is NOT due to the student but due to the delay in school forms submission, SAT reports, etc)

Help please.

Not sure what your delay problem is. If EA, usually things need to be postmarked by Nov 1. If many of your required materials won’t be sent until after Nov 1 then you face the risk of being deemed not timely for EA and automatically kicked to regular admission. Moreover, to change from EA or ED after applying is easy. You just contact the college and request the change and they will make it. If by phone, you should follow up with a letter to the admissons office confirming the requested change so you have a record to show it. A new app is neither needed nor allowed. That requested change needs to be done a while (such as at least a week) before EA or ED decisions come out because if they have already completely processed internally your decision, they may not allow you to change your status to regular.
