I'm a rising senior looking to apply to Yale SCEA. I think I have a pretty solid application (ECs, GPA, Scores, essay, etc.), but, like Princeton or Harvard, admission is kind of, to put it bluntly, a crapshoot. If I were, by some miracle, accepted, the only other school I'd apply to would be Harvard. Would getting accepted (or deferred, for that matter) make my chances at Harvard any better? Conversly, if I'm rejected (more likely), could it work against me for the other schools where I'd apply (Penn, Columbia, Georgetown, other similar schools)?

(Note: with the rejection, or even deferrment, I'd of course apply to safety/match type schools like Rutgers, BU, NYU, etc.)
